Michael Brewster is the sole manager of the MB Value and Growth and MB Strategic Credit Suisse Private Banking USA. He also co-manages the Small, Mid-Cap, and Special Situations Portfolio on the team. He began his career in ledger accounting at Bally’s Casino Hotel Atlantic City and casino credit at Trump Castle Casino, where he also worked in the pit. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he worked at Lehman Brothers for 16 years.

Born in Ireland, Michael graduated from Athlone Institute of Technology with a higher diploma in management finance and earned his B.Sc. in business administration from Thomas Edison State College. He serves on the boards of Enterprise Ireland Financial Services, the Irish International Business Network, and on the U.S. board of the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Michael, who was recognized from 2010-2014 as one of Barron’s Top 1,000 Advisors, lives in New York with his wife, Margaret. His father’s family come from Co. Fermanagh; his mother’s family, the Hegartys, hail from Co. Longford.
