Irish America held two receptions honoring the Business 100, 2002. The first, at the Yale Club in Manhattan on November 26, had Susan Kelliher-Ungaro, Editor-in-Chief, Family Circle, as keynote speaker. Ungaro was introduced by Tom Coughlan of Wal-Mart. Then on December 5, irish America traveled to San Francisco to hold its first ever West Coast function. Tom McEnery, the former mayor of San Jose, was the keynote speaker for a lunch at the Mark Hopkins Hotel, which was co-hosted by The American Ireland Fund. San Francisco mayor Willie Brown was among the many guests in attendance. ♦
