IRISH cyclist Ben Healy wrote a new chapter in Tour de France history on Monday, storming into the yellow jersey with a daring solo effort through the Massif Central on Stage 10. Two pubs closing each week in Ireland

OVER 2000 pubs have closed in Ireland in the last twenty years, according to a new report commissioned by the Drinks Industry Group of Ireland (DIGI). Ireland sees record number of abortions as figures reach over 10,000

IRELAND has recorded its highest number of abortions since the practice was legalised in 2018. Paul “Bono” Hewson married his high school sweetheart Alison Stewart on this day in 1982. The two first met at Dublin’s Mount Temple Comprehensive School and began dating in 1975. They were married at All Saints Church in Dublin. Bono has dedicated two songs to his wife, “The Sweetest Thing” and “All I Want is You.” The couple has four children together.
