Police launch murder inquiry following death of pregnant mother-of-two in Co. Down

POLICE have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a pregnant mother-of-two in Co. Down. At around 2.15pm on Saturday, the PSNI were called to reports of an unconscious woman with a serious injury inside a house in the Elmfield Walk area of Donaghadee. Young man dies following collision involving car and pedestrian in Dublin

A YOUNG man has died following a collision in Dublin in the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident, involving a car and a pedestrian, occurred at Balbutcher Lane in Ballymun at around 4.55am. Woman arrested following suspicious death of man in Newry

A WOMAN has been arrested by police investigating the suspicion death of a man in Newry on Saturday. At around 12.45pm, police received a report that a man in his 40s had sustained a serious injury in the Fisher Park area of the city. Paul “Bono” Hewson married his high school sweetheart Alison Stewart on this day in 1982. The two first met at Dublin’s Mount Temple Comprehensive School and began dating in 1975. They were married at All Saints Church in Dublin. Bono has dedicated two songs to his wife, “The Sweetest Thing” and “All I Want is You.” The couple has four children together.
