AN ATTACK on a young family in south Belfast is being treated as a racially-motivated hate crime by police. Man from Ireland convicted over killing of fox during hunt in Cheshire

A MAN from Ireland been convicted of hunting a fox with hounds in Cheshire, England. John Finnegan, 39, from Dean Hill, Hayse, Navan, Co. Meath was found guilty of one count of hunting a wild mammal with dogs at Crewe Magistrates' Court on August 15. Woman in her 60s dies in Dublin collision

A WOMAN in her 80s has died following a collision in Dublin. The incident occurred at around 10.30am today at Hillside Drive in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14. President John F. Kennedy receives a warm welcome upon his visit to his ancestral home in Co. Wexford, Ireland. Marking the second day of his four day trip through Ireland, Kennedy also visited the nearby town of New Ross, where his great-grandfather Patrick Kennedy left from in 1848 during the potato famine. Kennedy made a speech stating, “When my great-grandfather left here to become a cooper in East Boston he carried nothing with him except two things–a strong religious faith and a strong desire for liberty. I am proud to say that all of his grandchildren have valued that inheritance.”
