Pedestrian dies from injuries following Co. Waterford collision earlier this month

A PEDESTRIAN who was injured in a collision in Co. Waterford earlier this month has passed away. The man, aged in his 60s, was involved in a collision with a truck on the N25 near Ardmore at around 6.20pm on June 9. Co. Down man guilty of child rape is jailed for four-and-a-half years

A MAN from Co. Down who was found guilty of child rape has been jailed for four-and-a-half years. The 39-year-old man from the Newtownards area was also found guilty of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. A CAMPAIGN has been launched to stop people feeding the deer at Dublin’s Phoenix Park as the human interaction is causing the animals “health issues”. A WOMAN has been left with serious facial injuries after she was violently attacked by a burglar in her home. The incident happened at around 9.45pm last night at the property in the Cranfield Park area of Larne in Co. Antrim. July 25th marks the feast of St. James in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church. Dubliners celebrate this day by holding an annual drinking festival, which has been a tradition since the medieval era.
