Man found guilty of ‘despicable’ non-recent sex offences

A MAN has been found guilty of a string of non-recent sex offences, included three counts of raping a girl. Stephen Richard Gallagher, 58, of Normandy Avenue in Colchester, Essex, sexually abused three girls, who were aged between 10 and 19 at the time of the offending. Irish chain Supermac’s claims victory over McDonald’s in trademark battle

IRISH fast food chain Supermac's has claimed victory in a trademark dispute with global giant McDonald's. Searches carried out by police investigating New IRA

SEARCHES are being carried out in Co. Antrim by police investigating the activities of the New IRA. The searches, which are being carried out by detectives from the Terrorism Investigation Unit, are taking place in the Slievenaghy Road area of Rasharkin. July 25th marks the feast of St. James in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church. Dubliners celebrate this day by holding an annual drinking festival, which has been a tradition since the medieval era. Likewise, Irish pilgrims who choose to honor St. James and walk the Santiago de Compostela in Spain, often leave from St. James’s Gate in Dublin, where the Guinness factory is fittingly located.
