POLICE have appealed for witnesses to come forward with information following a petrol bomb attack on a car in Co. Antrim. Arrest made after car rammed into bank overnight

POLICE have arrested a man after a car was rammed into a bank in Derry overnight. PSNI officers were called after a red coloured car rammed into the Ulster Bank in Culmore Road at around 11.40pm. Witness appeal after pensioner died when car entered water

GARDAÍ have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a man in his 80s died when his car entered water following a collision. The incident happened at Buncrana Pier in Donegal st around 7.30am on March 19. Gardaí were called to reports of a vehicle in the water. Heavy traffic expected in Dublin as thousands attend Europa League Final

THOUSANDS of football fans will descend upon Dublin tomorrow to attend the Europa League Final. Ireland’s Crown Jewels are found missing on this day in 1907, just before days before a state visit by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. The theft remains a mystery to this day. Arthur Vicars, Officer of Arms at Dublin Castle, held the jewels in his office and publicly accused his second in command, Francis Shackleton. Shackleton was exonerated and the case was never solved. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle used this historical event as the influence for his Sherlock Holmes story “The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans.”
