Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing in Co. Armagh

A MAN has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Co. Armagh this afternoon. Former priest from Ireland jailed for historical abuse of young boys in London

A FORMER priest from Ireland has been jailed following an investigation into the non-recent sexual abuse of young boys in London in the 1970s and 1980s. Asylum seekers moved to IPAS accommodation as Dublin city centre encampment is dismantled

July 5, 1896

Bill Doolin, famous western outlaw of Irish descent, escaped from jail on this day in 1896. Born in Arkansas, Doolin went west and worked several jobs as a cowboy on Oklahoma ranches. He eventually became a member of the Dalton gang, who attempted several robberies. In 1892, Doolin formed his own gang called the Wild Bunch, which became the most infamous outlaw group of the west at that time. Doolin was eventually shot and killed by U.S. Marshal Heck Thomas.
