AN Irish bar has launched a campaign to raise money to buy a tuk-tuk for an orphanage in India. Founded in 2021 by Irish couple Lara and Kieran Boyle, Boyles' Bar in Sidcup, south-east London is a family-run boutique watering hole. Boy, 13, dies as five injured in ‘horrific’ stabbing attack in London

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has died following a ‘horrific’ stabbing attack in London this morning. Man dies following collision between tractor and quad bike on Irish road

AN INVESTIGATION is underway after a young man was killed in a collision between a quad bike and a tractor. The man, aged in his 20s, was driving the bike which collided with a tractor on the R353 in Derrybrien, Gort, County Galway at around 1.15pm on April 28. Man convicted of killing Irish pensioner Thomas O’Halloran in brutal London attack

A MAN has pleaded guilty to killing Irish pensioner Thomas O’Halloran in a brutal attack in West London. On this day in 1816, Dublin born playwright and politician Richard Brinsley Sheridan died in London. Sheridan was a member of the British House of Commons and is best remembered for his plays “A Trip to Scarborough,” “The Rivals,” and “The School for Scandal.” He was very well respected by his contemporaries and is buried at the Poet’s Corner at Westminster Abbey.
