‘Tragic incident’: Woman dies in house fire in Dublin

A WOMAN has died in a house fire in Dublin in what gardaí have described as a 'tragic incident'. Gardaí and emergency services responded to the fire at a house in Hunters Lane, Ballycullen, Dublin 24, shortly after 10pm on Monday. Anniversary appeal for man who went missing from Belfast on New Year’s Day 2006

POLICE have renewed their appeal for information on a man who disappeared from Belfast on New Year's Day in 2006. GARDAÍ investigating the death of a man in Co. Wexford on New Year's Eve have made a second arrest. Man due in court on voyeurism charge following suspicious activity in Co. Fermanagh

POLICE investigating a report of suspicious activity around public toilets at a commercial premises in Co. Fermanagh have charged a man to court. After the start of the Irish Rebellion of 1798 on May 24, the United Irishmen were defeated by British forces on this day in 1798. Historically known as the Battle of Vinegar Hill, almost 1,000 rebels lost their lives in this battle, which marked a turning point and eventual loss in the Rebellion of 1798.
