Police name woman found dead in Fermanagh as murder inquiry launched

POLICE have named a woman who was found dead at a property in Fermanagh over the weekend. Ellie Flanagan’s body was found at an address in the Corban Avenue area of Enniskillen on March 23. Tributes paid to 11-year-old schoolboy who died in Belfast collision

A BOY who died in a collision in Belfast has been named. Mason Keilhauer was struck by a car on the Shankhill Road at around 7.25pm on March 7. The 11-year-old, from the Shankhill area, was taken to hospital following the incident which happened. Rare lions will be ‘fondly remembered’ after being put to sleep at Belfast Zoo

Protestant William of Orange and his forces defeated Catholic James II on this day in 1690 at Battle of the Boyne. William’s victory rendered James II’s attempt to regain the British throne unsuccessful and allowed for a continuation of Protestant ascendancy in Ireland. The battle was fought across the River Boyne near Drogheda. July 12 is also known as “The Twelfth” or “Orange Day” in Belfast.
