AN INFANT boy has been seriously injured following a dog attack in Co. Kilkenny. The incident, which involved two dogs, occurred at a house in Callan this afternoon. Man charged with murder of Co. Tipperary pensioner

A MAN has been charged with the murder of a pensioner in Co. Tipperary last year. Sean Harding, 31, had previously been charged with assault causing harm to 81-year-old Timothy Murnane, as well as three counts of burglary. Police investigate petrol bomb attack on Co. Armagh house

POLICE are investigating a suspected petrol bomb attack on a house in Co. Armagh. The incident occurred in the Bunker Hill area of Markethill in the early hours of this morning. Former Labour MP Conor McGinn charged with sexual assault

PROSECUTORS have charged former Labour MP Conor McGinn with one count of sexual assault following a police investigation into an alleged incident in July 2022. Fidelma Macken, former judge of the Supreme Court of Ireland, became the first woman ever appointed to the European Court of Justice on this day in 1999. Macken, who was educated at Trinity College Dublin and Kings Inn, currently serves as a High Court judge in Ireland.
