Public warning issued after £100k lost to holiday scammers

A PUBLIC warning has been issued to anyone planning to book a holiday online. The PSNI has urged people to be wary and vigilant when planning their trips as more than £100k has been lost in Northern Ireland to travel scammers over the past year. Disease control measures in place as third case of bird flu found in Co. Tyrone

A THIRD case of suspected bird flu has been reported in Co. Tyrone. GARDAÍ have appealed for witnesses following the death of a pedestrian in a collision in Co. Laois. A man, aged in his 30s, died after being hit by a car at around 10.45pm on February 23. West Belfast shooting linked to dissident republican feud

THE SHOOTING of a taxi driver in the Poleglass area of West Belfast last weekend has been linked to a feud between dissident Republican groups. A man was hospitalised and remains critical following the incident which is thought to have occurred around 10:30 GMT on Sunday morning.
