GARDAÍ have launched an investigation after a man’s body was found in an empty property in Donegal. The police force confirmed this morning that they are “investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death” in Buncrana. Family of Paula Canty ‘heartbroken’ as man charged in connection with Cork woman’s death

THE family of Paula Canty have paid tribute to the mother-of-two who was found dead at her home in Co. Cork earlier this month. Ryanair sues disruptive passenger after airline was forced to divert flight

RYANAIR has launched legal proceedings against a disruptive passenger whose ‘unruly’ behaviour on one of their flights forced the airline to divert the plane. After the start of the Irish Rebellion of 1798 on May 24, the United Irishmen were defeated by British forces on this day in 1798. Historically known as the Battle of Vinegar Hill, almost 1,000 rebels lost their lives in this battle, which marked a turning point and eventual loss in the Rebellion of 1798.
