A TEENAGER has died following a collision involving an e-scooter and a car in Co. Kilkenny. The incident occurred at around 6.30pm on Saturday on Tullaroan Road at Bonnettstown. Two men in hospital and four arrested after serious assault in Belfast

POLICE have arrested four men following a report of a serious assault in North Belfast on Saturday evening. At around 5.50pm, it was reported that a fight was ongoing at a flat in the Cliftonville Road area, with weapons possibly used in the assault. Bill Doolin, famous western outlaw of Irish descent, escaped from jail on this day in 1896. Born in Arkansas, Doolin went west and worked several jobs as a cowboy on Oklahoma ranches. He eventually became a member of the Dalton gang, who attempted several robberies. In 1892, Doolin formed his own gang called the Wild Bunch, which became the most infamous outlaw group of the west at that time. Doolin was eventually shot and killed by U.S. Marshal Heck Thomas.
