Áine Quirke

Mason, Hayes & Curran, LLP

Áine Quirke is a Technology Partner with Mason Hayes & Curran LLP, a leading Irish law firm with offices in San Francisco, London, and New York. MHC’s technology lawyers are the ‘go-to’ outside counsel for many of the world’s leading tech and data-driven companies established in Ireland.

Based in New York, Áine advises on the privacy aspects of launching new and emerging technologies on the European market. She acts as lead European privacy counsel for WhatsApp and advises clients on regulatory investigations and enforcement actions taken by data protection authorities. Áine has been recognized twice as a ‘Rising Star’ in the Legal 500 rankings for Ireland.

Áine is also part of MHC’s Invest Ireland team, which works with organizations seeking to set up operations in Ireland by helping them to navigate the required legal steps smoothly.

Born and raised in Camp on the Dingle Peninsula, Áine graduated with First Class Honors from Business and Law (International) at University College Dublin. As part of this, she undertook a year of study abroad at DePaul University, College of Law, Chicago. She was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2013 and received her LL.M. from The University of Chicago Law School. She is also qualified as an attorney-at-law in New York. Áine lives in Hoboken with her husband, Paul, and son, Sandy.
