Andrew J. McMahon is Chief Executive Officer and President of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian), leading more than 9,000 colleagues working to inspire well-being for 29 million members. Under Andrew’s leadership, Guardian is expanding the ways it helps consumers achieve physical, emotional, and financial well-being. Previously, Andrew served as president and board director of AXA US and led strategic transformation initiatives at General Electric and as a partner at McKinsey.

Andrew serves on the boards of the American Council of Life Insurers and Partnership for New York City and was appointed to the New York State Insurance Advisory Board. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Computer Science) from Fairfield University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
