Bob Boyle
Bob Boyle is a Managing Director in EY’s Forensic and Integrity Services practice, with over 17 years of experience in regulatory and compliance work related to financial crimes. He engages with financial institutions globally, including banks, wealth and asset management firms, and companies in the gaming and racing industries.
His work involves conducting risk assessments, program reviews, investigations into money laundering and fraud matters, transaction remediation, enhanced due diligence, and providing quality assurance related to regulatory examinations and enforcement.
Bob’s Irish heritage comes from his great-grandmother, Margaret Mary Drohan, who was born in 1891 in Kilmacthomas, County Waterford, and immigrated to Yonkers, New York, in 1912. Margaret, part of a family of farmers and carpenters, had nine siblings. In New York, she married Richard Drought, who was originally from Tipperary, and they had three children, including Bob’s grandmother, Mary. After Richard’s early passing, Margaret worked two jobs to support her family.
