Before Bayberry, Brian was the Global Head of Trading at Blue Ridge Capital, a hedge fund he worked at in various roles from April 2000 until the firm closed in December 2017 when its founder, John Griffin, decided to retire. After graduating from Boston University with an accounting degree, Brian started his career with PwC.

From 2011 through 2023, Brian served as the mayor of Irvington, NY. He is a former co-chair and active member of the United States Soccer Development Council in New York, and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. He has co-produced several Broadway shows, including the revival of Once On This Island, for which he won a Tony Award. He is a former part-time deputy sheriff, volunteer firefighter, and emergency medical technician.
