Ciarán Hynes is a Founder and Managing Partner at COSIMO Ventures, a deep tech investment firm specializing in Blockchain and Digital Assets with offices in Boston and Dublin. Their fund COSIMO X is the first evergreen, tokenized venture fund globally. Ciarán also sits on the boards of emerging technology companies including the leading Fintech company Gecko Governance, a blockchain-based regulation and compliance platform for the funds industry and Lingar, an innovative augmented reality solution. He is also a director of Oneiro, which built the world’s first adaptive digital currency, NDAU. Ciarán was born in Dublin but has lived in Boston for the past 10 years and has been a serial entrepreneur since his mid-20s. He speaks regularly on Blockchain and the transformative nature of that technology and its impact on the entire financial industry. He is also actively involved with the Irish Network, BIBA, the Irish American Partnership, and chairs Boston’s UCD Alumni Chapter. He is also a member of the North American board of the UCD Smurfit Business School and a founding member of the Boston Friends of the GPA.
