Connor Farry

Glen Echo Group

Connor Farry serves as a Director at the Glen Echo Group, a public affairs firm based in Washington, DC. He assists a range of clients with policy work, press relations, advocacy, and podcast production.

‍Before joining Glen Echo, he worked for various PR, media, and advocacy organizations. Connor served as a deputy communications director for an elected official in New York. Additionally, Connor has held positions at the DC-based communications firm Precision Strategies, CBS News, and worked as an intern on Capitol Hill.

‍Connor currently serves as a board member for the nonprofit organization Pay It Forward 9/11, which works to perform acts of kindness through education and service to honor those who lost their lives during the September 11th attacks. It’s a subject close to his heart as he was among the 7,000 passengers and crew diverted to Newfoundland on 9/11 as he flew from Dublin to New York.

He graduated cum laude from the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University with a degree in Political Communication. Connor is a first-generation native of Rockland County, NY, whose mother hails from County Longford. His paternal grandfather was born in County Sligo. Much of Connor’s family, including his grandfather, aunt, uncle, and cousins, still reside in Ireland.
