Diane Leneghan Tomb

Diane currently serves as a Partner at ACG Advocacy, one of Washington, DC’s premier bipartisan government affairs firms. Prior to this role, she was the CEO of the American Land Title Association (ALTA), a national trade association representing the $18 billion title insurance industry. Diane is a seasoned association executive and public affairs leader with a distinguished record of serving as CEO of three national trade associations and advising industries at the highest level of policy.
A native of Philadelphia, Diane graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD, with a B.A. In Political Science. She began her career at the White House for then-President George H.W. Bush and also served in the George W. Bush Administration at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs. In 2024, Diane was recognized in Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Most Influential People Shaping Policy, and she was named one of Housing Wire’s Women of Influence.
A first-generation Irish American, Diane’s parents, Sally (nee Newcombe) and Anthony Leneghan, both hail from County Mayo. Diane grew up Irish dancing and playing the accordion with her father, who ran Leneghan’s Irish Inn in Philadelphia for over 50 years. Diane and her husband Mark have three young adult children and live in Arlington, VA.
