Eoin Duane is a Managing Director and Partner at Insight Partners in New York, where he leads the firm’s Opportunities Funds investment strategy. Insight Partners is one of the world’s leading software and technology investors, and Eoin has spearheaded investments in and serves on the boards of multiple market-leading enterprise software businesses, including Aptean, CivicPlus, and Kiteworks.

A native of Dublin, Eoin began his career at Guggenheim Partners before joining Elliott Management’s Private Equity group. He moved to Insight Partners in 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBS in Finance from University College Dublin and the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and he earned the CFA charter in 2015.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Eoin is an active member of the Irish community in New York. He serves on the boards of the Irish Repertory Theatre, the Children’s Medical Research Foundation, and UCD’s North American Advisory Board.

Eoin lives in Brooklyn with his wife and their three daughters, along with their two beloved rescue pit bulls, Norma and Rachel.
