Eric Moore
Eric Moore is a Director and Client Executive within the BNY Global Clearance and Collateral Management business. BNY is the world’s largest Collateral Manager supporting $7 trillion in assets globally. Eric has responsibility for the Canadian market, a strategically important and growing region for the firm. Eric leads the senior client relationships with the largest financial institutions in Canada, helping strengthen cross-border partnerships and drive BNY’s global connectivity.
After graduating with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Accounting from Felician University in New Jersey, Eric joined BNY at its historic headquarters at One Wall Street. Over the past 18 years, he has built a distinguished career, holding leadership roles with BNY in both New York and London and earning the prestigious BNY Star Award — the firm’s highest global honor.
Eric was born in Dublin and raised in the coastal town of Balbriggan, North County Dublin. An accomplished soccer player with Glebe North FC and Shelbourne FC, his athletic and academic achievements earned him a scholarship to Felician University in New Jersey in 2003 — a life-changing opportunity that set him on a journey from the Irish shores to Wall Street.
Deeply grateful to his mentors, colleagues, and family, Eric is proud to contribute to the fabric of the Irish American community on Wall Street and across the wider diaspora. He has also served as Chairman of Irish Network NYC and President of the Rutherford Irish American Association, and lives in Rutherford, New Jersey, with his wife, Vania.
