Investment Advisor

John Cummins is an entrepreneur and investor based in Pennsylvania. Originally from Dublin, John founded his own technical services firm, NEXA, in 2015 and expanded into the US the following year. 

After six successful years of growth between Ireland and the US, NEXA was acquired by NASDAQ-listed Transcat, and John became Vice President of the parent company. 

After three years, John left his role at Transcat to focus full-time on his passion: providing investment and advice to fledgling Irish startups. 

A big believer in social-responsibility, John and his wife Adele have been supporters of several charities over the years, including Ronald McDonald House in John’s hometown of Crumlin, Rock to the Future – a Philadelphia-based Music Organization, and most recently have provided funding for schools in PA & NJ that are working with Neumann University and Cubbie (an Irish Startup) to assess the role of sensory regulation in education for neurodiverse students.
