John Harrington is a Director in the Accounting and Finance Consulting group at RSM, where he leads complex technical accounting engagements with a focus on cross-border conversions, international financial reporting, and advisory support for high-net-worth family office clients. He also serves on RSM’s Irish Country Practice team, advising companies on US expansion planning.

Before relocating to New York in 2016, John worked in the advisory department of Grant Thornton, where he specialized in financial reporting for media and entertainment clients, hedge funds, and large property portfolios. He later joined Eurotech Construction, a leading Manhattan-based firm, before transitioning to RSM.

John holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Galway and is an Associate Chartered Accountant.

Originally from Raheny, Dublin, John is passionate about golf and soccer. He now resides in Montclair, New Jersey, where he enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Tania, and their puppy, Milou.
