Karl Robinson is an Executive Director at IFM Investors, where he is responsible for Strategic Planning and Execution. IFM Investors is a US$150 150bn+ investment manager with a purpose to invest, protect, and grow the long-term retirement savings of working people. Before his current role at IFM, Karl spent 14 years at Macquarie, where he served as a Managing Director and Global COO across various Asset Management and Infrastructure Investment Banking businesses. Prior to Macquarie, Karl was a Senior Manager at Accenture in Dublin, where he spent 7 years working with financial services clients to transform their strategy, business operating models, and performance.

Karl has a deep connection with Ireland, having grown up in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, before moving to Dublin to study at University College Dublin, where he graduated with first-class honors in Commerce and a Master’s of Business from the Michael Smurfit School of Business. Upon graduation, Karl joined Accenture in Dublin in 2003, working with financial services clients to transform their strategies, business operating models, and performance. He then moved to Sydney, Australia, in 2010, where he met his wife, Niamh, who hails from Wicklow town. Karl and Niamh moved to New York in 2017 and now live in Old Greenwich, CT, with their three-year-old daughter, Sophia.
