Kathleen Lauster, CFA, is a Managing Director at Armory Group with more than 20 years of investment banking and advisory experience. She possesses deep expertise in complex transactions, special situations, distressed M&A, restructuring-related advisory, and structured financings. She is known for her highly relationship-driven approach and an excellent track record advising sponsors, lenders, and middle-market clients.

Prior to joining Armory, Kathleen founded Fairfield Capital, building the firm from the ground up before moving the team to Ankura, where she led the investment banking platform. Kathleen also held roles at Houlihan Lokey in New York and London and began her career in Detroit, advising and lending to automotive suppliers.

Kathleen’s mother’s family all hailed from Ireland – County Kerry and County Sligo, and her father’s family has roots in County Clare. She is very proud of her Irish heritage, having studied in Ireland in high school, and more recently worked in Dublin during the financial crisis.
