Kevin Kent is Clark Hill’s Transatlantic Practice chair, focusing on assisting European companies expand in the U.S. and U.S. companies expand in Europe. Based in Philadelphia and Dublin, he counsels a broad spectrum of clients in diverse industries, including public infrastructure, real estate development, life sciences, financial services, gaming, education, and government. He is also a director of his firm’s government relations affiliate, Clark Hill Public Strategies.
A lawyer in the United States, Ireland, England, and Wales, Kent is the immediate past chairman and current board member of the Irish American Business Chamber & Network, which promotes the development of economic and educational relationships between the U.S., Ireland, and Northern Ireland. He currently acts as the Chamber’s liaison with government business development agencies.
Kent earned a BA from Boston College and a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served on the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. He also studied at the UN Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Magee College, University of Ulster in Co. Derry. Married with four adult children, Kent’s Irish roots lie in counties Galway, Cavan, Kilkenny, and Derry.
