Kevin Fortuna

Kevin Fortuna is an entrepreneur, author and filmmaker. Currently, he runs Gramercy Labs, the NYC-based incubator that has launched successful startups such as Lot18, GeistM, GearBrain and BeoFior. He serves as founder / CEO of www.GeistM.com and www.Lot18.com whose wine subscription service, www.TastingRoom.com is the #1 personalized wine subscription in the nation. Lot18 “powers” the wine offerings of leading media, e-commerce and entertainment brands (The New York Times, William Sonoma, HelloFresh, The Walking Dead, SNL, and Lord of the Rings). GeistM is the fastest-growing MarTech platform in the content marketing space, and will soon complete its fifth straight year of sequential revenue and profit growth. Kevin’s mother is an Irish citizen and his family hails from Cobh, County Cork. He serves on the board of Concern Worldwide U.S. Kevin’s heritage has found its way into his writing: his critically acclaimed debut collection of short stories, The Dunning Man, features an edgy cast of Irish and Irish-American characters. His feature film by the same name has been screened internationally at 37 festivals and has garnered 19 awards, including seven awards for best feature. Kevin is currently at work on his second film, Flogging Maggie, another adaptation from his short story collection.Kevin graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University and earned an M.F.A. in fiction from the University of New Orleans.
