Kevin Sherlock is a managing director and the global co-head of Financial Sponsors Group for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In his current role, Kevin’s team is responsible for the origination and execution of all debt, equity and M&A transactions for private equity firms on a global basis.

He previously was co-head of the bank’s global leveraged finance business where he and his team are responsible for the origination, structuring and syndication of underwritten and best-efforts loan and bond financings for non-investment grade companies across all industries.

Prior to joining Bank of America in 2014, Mr. Sherlock spent 18 years at Deutsche Bank. A native of Queens, NY, Kevin graduated from SUNY Albany with a bachelor’s in finance and management information systems. He then went on to earn his master’s in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Kevin serves as a board member for Archbishop Molloy High School and Hour Children.

Kevin, who has roots in Sligo on his father’s side and in Mayo and Roscommon on his mother’s side, is a second-generation Irish American. He is a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. Kevin and his wife, Amy, have three children, Erin, Timothy and Meghan, and Kevin says, “I do my best to tell my children all our family stories so they have the same connection as I do to our heritage.”
