Kevin McLaughlin
Kevin McLaughlin, Managing Director, Wealth Management Advisor for Merrill Lynch, holds a degree in Finance from Boston College and has completed the Wharton School’s High Net Worth Investment Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and met the Harvard Business School requirements for a certificate in Sustainable Investing. Forbes has named Kevin to numerous annual “Best of Advisors” lists, including for 2024.
Kevin, a past President of the Boston College Alumni Association, is on the Executive Committee of BC’s Wall Street Business Leadership Council. He is an alumnus of Xavier High School in New York, where he served as a past Trustee.
In September 2022, Kevin received Merrill Lynch’s David Brady Award. David was a New York-based Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor, highly respected for his client-first approach and for his commitment to giving back to the community. He died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
In 2023, Kevin was the Keynote Speaker at Irish America’s Wall Street 50 Dinner. His paternal grandfather, Joseph McLaughlin, emigrated from Kilrea, Co. Antrim, to New York, where he met and married first-generation Irish immigrant Nora Donovan, whose parents had emigrated from Croom, Co. Limerick. His maternal grandparents, Patrick McLaughlin and Molly Curtain, both relocated to New York from Cork City. Kevin is married to Jean. They reside in Pound Ridge, New York.
