Liz Horgan is a seasoned healthcare marketing executive whose 20-plus-year career has shaped some of the industry’s most purpose-driven brands. As a global leader in health technology, patient health advocacy, and executive leadership, she has guided organizations-from early-stage innovators to multinational enterprises – through product development, marketing, and strategy to elevate clinical excellence through digitally-enabled care. Her work spans leadership roles across payers, employer groups, and health systems to advance patient-centered innovation, including product development and strategy, in senior roles at Mercer, Bupa/Health Dialog, Aetna/CVS, and Cigna.
Liz’s Irish heritage is a defining part of her identity. A proud Irish Bostonian, she draws inspiration from her maternal roots in Donegal and her paternal family from Cork and Kerry. Her grandparents were married on St. Patrick’s Day in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, a story that has shaped generations of family pride. She grew up steeped in Irish traditions, baking her grandmother’s beloved Irish soda bread and adopting family sayings, including her favorite: “May you be in heaven half an hour before the Devil knows you’re dead.”
