Margaret Crotty

Margaret Crotty is a seasoned public health leader, Executive in Residence at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, and the Chair of Northwell Health, New York’s largest health system.
Most recently, she served as President and CEO of JSI, a global NGO managing large-scale projects in public health, health supply chain, educational and economic security, and health information system in 32 countries; and improving healthcare quality and access in the US. Previously, she was CEO of Partnership with Children, led Save the Children’s flagship $2 billion child survival campaign; served as CEO of AFS-USA Intercultural Programs; and held roles at EF Education and McKinsey & Company in Jakarta, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Paris.
Margaret serves on several health and education boards at the state, federal, and global levels. Margaret holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPH from Columbia University, and a BA from Princeton University.
Her four paternal great-grandparents came from County Clare, and a maternal grandmother’s family from County Cork. Margaret lives with her family in New York City.
