Maria Hehir is a Principal in Blackstone’s Credit & Insurance platform, where she is part of the Office of the Chief Investment Officer and a member of the Underwriting & Execution team. She focuses on portfolio management across Blackstone’s multi-asset credit strategies. She is also part of Blackstone’s internal AI Committee, a cross-functional initiative advancing the firm’s data and AI capabilities.

Before relocating to New York in 2023, Marie worked in Blackstone’s Dublin office. Before joining the firm in 2019, she was an Investment Analyst at CSM Capital Corporation in New York, an investment management firm advising US and offshore families, endowments, and foundations.

Marie earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Limerick. She sits on the Junior Board of the Children’s Medical Research Foundation, which bridges Ireland and the US in support of pediatric research. Outside of work, Marie loves staying active through Pilates, tennis, golf, and strength training, and often returns home to the Irish countryside to her friends, family, and black Labrador, Romeo.
