Melissa Haire

Melissa Haire currently serves as the US Head of Client Management for the Prime Finance business at HSBC, which provides multi-asset financing capabilities and post-trade services to institutional asset managers. Melissa and her team are responsible for client coverage, providing solutions and driving a superior client experience for Prime clients, enabling them to operate efficiently across complex investment strategies.

Before joining HSBC, Melissa worked with Shadmoor Advisors and held leadership roles in Prime Services at Credit Suisse. She began her career in the Investment Management Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston and New York, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College.

Melissa’s maternal grandparents were first-generation Irish Americans. Her ancestry includes Lee’s, Dolan’s, Fitzgerald’s, and Murphy’s, all from hard-working farming communities in and around Cork and Galway, Ireland. She was raised in Hingham, Massachusetts, surrounded by her large Irish Catholic extended family and immersed in Irish tradition.

Melissa lives in Darien, CT, with her husband Casey and their five children. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Sakonnet Point Club in Little Compton, Rhode Island, and volunteers at her children’s schools for their various sports teams, as well as at her local parish, St. Thomas More.
