Michael Buckley
J.P. Morgan
Michael Buckley is an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management within the firm’s real estate investment management platform. Based in Dallas, he oversees a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential assets across the Central and Southeast United States.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2012, Michael served as a Captain in the Marine Corps, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon, among other honors.
He is active in NAIOP North Texas, the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth, and also supports organizations dedicated to wounded service members, including Homes For Our Troops, where he volunteers alongside his sons, building fully accessible homes for injured veterans.
Michael graduated from the College of the Holy Cross, where he was a member of the Division I football team, earning a degree in Economics with a minor in Accounting. Following his military service, he earned an MBA in Finance from New York University.
Michael traces his Irish heritage to his maternal grandparents who emigrated from Cork and Mayo in the late 1800s. He was raised in Swampscott, MA, and is the son of Patricia (Daley) Buckley and Dr. Frederick O. Buckley. He and his wife, Kelly Houlihan, have four children, James, Charles, Frederick, and Carlyle.
