Michael Pryce

Michael Pryce is a Senior Vice President of Financial Markets Infrastructure at Citibank. With over 30 years of experience in global banking and portfolio management, Michael was most recently a Senior Credit Officer at SMBC and, previously, Head of Portfolio Risk Management and Director of Financial Institutions at National Australia Bank (NAB).

As part of NAB’s global team, he managed a regional multi-billion-dollar portfolio of counterparty credit and market risk for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). Prior to joining NAB, Michael was a Vice President at Credit Lyonnais (now Calyon), where he managed their securities lending operation. Earlier in his career, he established and ran the securities lending Asia desk at Bankers Trust.

Michael was part of NAB’s Corporate Social Responsibility leadership team and is a past president of HOPe (Helping Other People Foundation.) On their behalf, he traveled to Ethiopia and Peru to evaluate grantee development projects. For four years, he was a volunteer mentor with iMentor.

Born in New York and raised in Kerry and Limerick, Michael graduated from University College Cork with a B.A. in Commerce and also holds an M.B.A. from Fordham University. He is an avid Munster rugby supporter and Kerry GAA fan. Michael lives in New York City with his wife, Maura Kelly, who is from Killarney, Co. Kerry.
