Michelle McCarthy is Director of Marketing Strategy for concerts and marquee events at Madison Square Garden Entertainment, spearheading strategic marketing plans for the Company’s properties in New York City, including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
She has played a pivotal role in the success of notable events at the Garden in recent years including Harry Styles’ 15-sold-out nights in 2022 and the historic Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano boxing match, described as the “biggest women’s fight of all time” and voted Fight of the Year by Sports Illustrated.
Michelle graduated top of her class at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology with a BA in Business and Arts Management. Following graduation, she created her own music marketing and PR company, and went on to lead marketing for a variety of illustrious brands in Ireland including the RTE Concert Orchestra.
Having grown up on the outskirts of Youghal, Co. Cork, Michelle moved to New York City in 2012 to pursue a career in the music industry, where she landed a key role at The World’s Most Famous Arena in midtown Manhattan.
