Monica is a New Business Risk Control Specialist at UBS. She coordinates the development, assessment, and approval of new products and services within Wealth Management and Investment Banking. Prior to that, she was the Financial Controller for Equity Derivatives and spent 12 years in Group Internal Audit for Wealth Management at UBS. 

She received her bachelor’s degree and MBA in Finance from Iona University and a Master’s in Accountancy from Pace University. She is a member of the Ireland Funds Young Leaders, NYC Chapter Leader for the Ellevate Network, advisory board of LeanIn NYC Network, and a member of  All Bar None which is a women’s network at UBS.  

A first-generation Irish-American whose father hails from Carrigallen, Leitrim, and mother from Gweedore, Donegal, Monica was fortunate to spend her summers as a child in Ireland and is looking forward to taking her children to Ireland. She resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband Donald, and two children, Gráinne and Gavin.
