Pauline Donohoe 

Pauline Donohoe is a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets, European Economic Area (EEA), Scotiabank Ireland. Pauline accepted this role in 2021, with the purpose of providing strategic direction, leadership, and oversight for Capital Markets in Europe.

Pauline joined Scotiabank in 2002, and prior to her current role, Pauline was a Managing Director in Scotiabank’s Debt Capital Market’s team in New York, covering strategic Canadian issuers in the international markets, following on from her role as Director, Fixed-Income Trading, also at Scotiabank New York.

Pauline graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology Ireland with a BSc in Management.

Pauline grew up in Longford, Ireland, and moved to the US in 1997. She took up a role as a Junior Associate on TD Securities’ Fixed Income desk, where her first experience of the excitement and energy of a New York trading floor made a lasting impression that endures and influences Pauline to this day.
