Ronan Dunne

Verizon Communications

Ronan Dunne is executive vice president and Strategic Advisor to the CEO, Verizon Communications. Until 12/31/21 he was CEO of Verizon Consumer Group, the largest division of Verizon Communications, the leading U.S. telecoms provider. He led the teams responsible for delivering wireline, TV, and wireless connected experiences to more than 120 million consumers every day. Ronan is the Chairman of Six Nations Rugby Ltd, responsible for Mens, Womens and Under 20 rugby championships. He serves on the advisory board of the Kairos Society, whose mission is “focusing the next generation on problems worth solving” and is a counselor for the One Young World charity. Born and raised in Dublin, Ronan maintains strong links with Ireland, including membership in the Global Irish Network and the Irish International Business Network, (IIBN) and works closely with Enterprise Ireland, the IDA, and Invest NI.  “I’m very proud of my Irish heritage and of the role played by the Irish diaspora globally,” he says. “As a business leader I draw heavily on that heritage and value greatly the opportunity to represent our country and our culture.”
