Sarah Hunt is an Alpine Saxon Woods Founding Partner and Chief Market Strategist. She has over 25 years of experience in various capacities in the investment industry. Before launching Alpine Saxon Woods, she was a Portfolio Manager at Alpine Woods Capital Investors. Sarah was the Sr. Vice President of Equity Research, working on institutional and individual client portfolios, as well as equity mutual funds, at Capital Management Associates. Earlier in her career, she worked with institutional brokers at Prudential Securities. Sarah earned her degree in Economics from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Fordham University, as well as her CFA Charter in 1997. She is a recurring contributor on Bloomberg, providing market commentary and insight.

A lifelong New Yorker, Sarah attended Stuyvesant High School, during which she made the first of many trips to Ireland. With Irish heritage on both sides of her family, Sarah traveled with her family and maternal grandparents researching for relatives in archived records across the country. For several years, she was privileged to attend the West Cork Chamber Music Festival in Bantry and hopes to return one day and enjoy it again, as well as the Traditional Music Festival.
