Seamus McMahon is the Vice President of Financial Services at Booz & Company, based in New York. A partner in Booz from 1991-1995, he went to HSBC Bank USA and then rejoined the firm in October 2006. In his current position McMahon leads the commercial banking practice in the United States. Prior to rejoining the firm McMahon held leadership positions at other consulting firms and had line responsibilities at Toronto Dominion Bank and HSBC Group.

McMahon, whose roots are in counties Monaghan and Tipperary, attended Trinity College, Dublin where he graduated with a BA in Economics. Asked what his Irish heritage means to him, McMahon answers, “My Irish heritage anchors me and secures my sense of community – especially important in fast-moving New York.” McMahon currently serves on the board of the National Council on Economic Education and on the Advisory Board of Enterprise Ireland. He has two children and lives in New York.
