Sean P. McGonigle is a Partner at Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch LLP and a leader in the firm’s financial services litigation and dispute resolution group.
With over a decade of high-stakes litigation experience, Sean represents individuals, financial institutions, businesses, investors, and insurers faced with complex commercial disputes. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court.
Sean earned his B.A. from Fordham University and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law & Policy. He has since co-authored articles for Law360 addressing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) concerns. Currently, Sean serves on the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Attorney Professionalism.
Deeply connected to his Irish heritage, Sean is a proud dual citizen with family hailing from Donegal and Fermanagh. He lives on Long Island with his wife, Ryan Elizabeth. They are both actively involved with his alma mater, Chaminade High School.
