Steve is the Global Head of Product Development for Credit and Private Strategies at PIMCO. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2026, he was Head of Institutional Portfolio Solutions at Blue Owl Capital, where he focused on new product development and structuring customized solutions for strategic clients. Previously, he served as Head of Private Markets Risk at Aksia, advising institutional investors on portfolio construction, manager selection, and alternative investment allocations. He began his career at Allied Irish Bank, where he underwrote middle-market corporate, project finance, and oil and gas loans.

Steve attended high school at St. Andrew’s College before earning a Bachelor of Business Studies in Finance and Strategic Management from Trinity College Dublin, graduating with honors. After relocating to the United States in 2011, he continued his professional development by becoming a CFA charterholder and earning the CAIA designation. He serves on the board of the Children’s Medical Research Foundation, which supports research into pediatric diseases in Ireland, the United States, and around the world. Steve lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Viv, their sons, Theo and Max, and their puppy, Tux. He enjoys bringing his family back to Howth, where he grew up.
