“I am very proud of my Irish heritage, coming from a long line of Meehans and Murrans on my mother’s side. My wife, Nancy’s (née Tormey), ancestors hail from counties Mayo and Galway. As children, we heard the stories of our Irish forebears who came to this country, hardened by deprivation and ambitious for a more promising future. In honor of those who came from Ireland before us, we are active supporters of the Irish Arts Center, a wonderful NYC cultural venue worthy of our Irish heritage.”
