Tony McManus is the Global Head of Bloomberg’s Enterprise Data and Index businesses, which provide financial data, benchmarks, analytics, and technology services for the world’s leading financial institutions. He is responsible for running all aspects of the division, including strategy and product development.

Tony has held multiple executive roles at Bloomberg, including Head of Operations and Chief Information Officer, and was responsible for overseeing the emergence of Bloomberg’s real-time data and technology business from an industry upstart to a market leader.

Before Bloomberg, Tony was the Global Head of Enterprise Software at NYSE Technologies, responsible for the full suite of electronic trading technology, as well as general management and operational responsibility for the NYSE Euronext Technology Centre of Excellence in Ireland.

Tony has held various board positions, including the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce, and as a digital services specialist at Neueda, leading up to their 2021 acquisition by Version 1. More recently, he has been an active member of the advisory board for Young Enterprise Northern Ireland.

Tony hails from Belfast and is an alumnus of St. Malachy’s College and a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast. He lives with his wife, Jacqueline, and their four daughters in Larchmont, New York, while trying to return to Belfast and Donegal at least four times a year.
