Tributes paid to 11-year-old schoolboy who died in Belfast collision

A BOY who died in a collision in Belfast has been named. Mason Keilhauer was struck by a car on the Shankhill Road at around 7.25pm on March 7. The 11-year-old, from the Shankhill area, was taken to hospital following the incident which happened. Government’s first chartered flight from Middle East lands at Dublin Airport

THE GOVERNMENT’S first chartered flight from the Middle East in the wake of the escalating conflict in the region has arrived safely in Dublin. The ban restricting Catholics from attending Trinity College Dublin is finally lifted on this day in 1970. Through the help of the then Archbishop of Dublin John McQuaid, the Roman Catholic church removes its policy of disapproval or even excommunication for Catholics who enrolled at Trinity College without the proper permission. Authorities at the school also allow for a Catholic chaplain to be based at the college.
